The Tower of Babel isn't exactly a fable ya know?
Society stacks its stairways with the distractions it carries and breaks backs with belief always in tow.

The architects fool ya, when from out your throat spills "hallelujah."
Projecting ambivalence will not subside the emptiness,
You're all so hollow the ghosts see right through ya.

They throw a bone, starved dogs catch it.
Tell it to speak, no howls match it.
BONE THROWER. DOG STARVER. MOTHER FUCKER.

From above the meat dangles,
But we have fresh kills newly mangled,
And some suffer the summit regardless.
What you need is right here, albeit clouded in fear. and to see those who leave is the hardest.

OMNIPOTENCE NEVER NEEDS.
NATURE NEVER FIENDS TO BE PLEASED.
Tear the lids from your eyes!
Never look! Vision will cast off truth's disguise.
It is time to live life off your knees.

Let us speak without talking.
Reach destinations without walking.
In a time when human kind can see the end of its line,
You'd think this flesh would mean more than just hide.

Glory be had to fine lines in determining what is real and what is not.
